The portal is the first thing you will see when starting a new world. Tap on it to Warp in your first Blockhead.
Craftable items[]
Amethyst Upgrade[]
The amethyst upgrade is the first upgrade to the portal, requiring an amethyst and 20 Time Crystals. It allows you to:
- Create an amethyst pickaxe - get double from mining
- Unlock the Sapphire Upgrade
Sapphire Upgrade[]
The sapphire upgrade is the second upgrade to the portal, requiring a sapphire and 40 Time Crystals. It allows you to:
- Create a sapphire pickaxe - get tripple (sic) from mining
- Unlock the Emerald upgrade
Emerald Upgrade
The emerald upgrade is the third upgrade to the portal, requiring an emerald and 60 Time Crystals. It allows you to:
- Create an emerald pickaxe - get 4x from mining
- Unlock the Ruby upgrade
Ruby Upgrade[]
The ruby upgrade is the fourth upgrade to the portal, requiring a ruby and 80 Time Crystals. It allows you to:
- Create a ruby pickaxe - get 5x from mining
- Unlock the Diamond upgrade
Diamond Upgrade[]
The diamond upgrade is the fifth and currently final upgrade to the portal, requiring a diamond and 100 Time Crystals. It allows you to:
- Create a Diamond pickaxe - get 6x from mining
Other uses[]
The portal is your initial source of crafting, and is used to create the level 1 Workbench for a cost of 1 dirt.
The portal can also be used to warp in more blockheads at a cost of 50time crystals and 5 fruit (with a different fruit type for each blockhead warped) , to a maximum of 5 blockheads.

Finally, the portal can also be used to purchase Double-Time and additional time crystals .
